Recording of Schubert String Quartets
From 19-21 March the Schumann Quartet recorded string quartets of Schubert for an upcoming CD release. The recording took place at the SWR Studio in Kaiserslautern in cooperation with the SWR. The recorded works were Schuberts String Quartet D Major D 74 (1813), the String Quartet c-Minor D 703 and the unfinished Andante fragment as well as the String Quartet No. 13 A Minor op- 29 D804 (1824) "Rosamunde". The CD will be released at Berlin Classics. More information will follow.
